No wonder it is a school rule that you can't bring electronics to school! I definitely can't compete for your attention when they are around! Maybe I need to invent a "Mrs. Edgar" app that teaches my lessons...
Glad things will be back to normal on Monday and I'll have your full attention again...right???? Mrs. Edgar P.S. Thanks to the people who are commenting on the blog posts! Some of you were working on a challenging problem today:
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Copy the 16 dots. Connect the 16 dots using exactly 5 continuous line segments. Do not lift your pencil. Can anyone solve it? Have a great weekend, Mrs. Edgar Taking risks isn't always easy, but you need to take risks in order to grow as a person. Tomorrow, why not try to do something that you wouldn't normally do? Maybe it is raising your hand to participate in class, maybe it is getting involved in something that you are curious about-- it could be anything out of your comfort zone...
Have a great night, Mrs. Edgar Congratulations to Sahib and Josh, our students of the month for January. The theme was "Sefl-Disciplined". Next month, the theme is "Caring". Who in the class do you think exemplifies this trait?
Have a great night, Mrs. Edgar P.S. I'm concerned for our fish---who is taking care of him?????? Watch for new Math challenges in the classroom! Currently there is a "Challenge Question" posted on the Math board. Who will be the first to solve it? I can't wait to see!
You should be completing the good copy of your speech in the next couple of days and beginning to practise. One week to go! Have a great night, Mrs. Edgar Fractals in nature? Who knew ? :) On Friday Jan 28th we wil be celebrating Bonhomme's Break-a-Rule Day at Talbot Trail. We need to decide on an option for "Class Choice". What would you like to see on that list?
Have a great night, and DO YOUR HOMEWORK Mrs. Edgar Tomorrow is a reading day in Literacy. We will work on Literature Circles and revisit our dear Coraline! In Math, we will continue investigating fractals. Get ready to describe the patterns you see!
Have a great night, Mrs. Edgar Great job teaching the class today Harshith :) Tomorrow we will focus on reading in Literacy and look at our Lit Circles. We will also have a bit of time for speech writing.
Have a great night, Mrs. Edgar Today in class we got our literacy starter book and talked about how we were going to start this every day. How do you feel about this and do you think it will help you in literacy or not?
Thanks. Mouzayan and Brooke |
